MIXSOON Bean Essence (50ml)

Yes. After cleansing and toning, massage it onto skin until debris lifts, then remove with damp cotton pads. Use 2 to 3 times per week as needed. This is a wash-off method, so it's separate from your usual leave-on application.

The active ingredient is fermented soybean extract. Other products in the Bean range incorporate additional fermented plant extracts (such as barley, pomegranate, and Korean pear), but fermented soybean is the one at the heart of this essence.

• Fermented Soybean Extract: packed with proteins and amino acids to support elasticity and firmness, help brighten uneven tone, and leave skin feeling smoother and more supple.
• Pomegranate Extract: vitamin-rich and hydrating, it helps calm irritation, balance moisture, and strengthen the skin barrier for a bouncier look.
• Natural AHAs (alpha hydroxy acids): gently loosen dead skin cells to refine texture, minimise the appearance of pores, and support a more radiant complexion over time.

It's a gel-like, viscous texture, similar to snail mucin (a popular K-beauty ingredient known for its stretchy, bouncy consistency).

It can work alongside tretinoin, but needs a bit of care. Bean Essence contains natural AHAs (gentle exfoliating acids), and tretinoin is already quite active, so using them together may cause irritation or dryness for some people.

• Watch for any redness, stinging, or dryness and scale back if needed.
